ABOUT ME

I am a Suzuki trained violinist and teacher based in Yakima, WA. Originally from Puyallup, I started violin lessons at the age of 5 at the Suzuki Institute of Seattle with Janai Fuller and continued my violin studies with Rhonda Marsh in high school, participating in multiple instrumental and vocal ensembles. I graduated with a BA in violin performance from Central Washington University and continued to participate in multiple small and large instrumental ensembles. My newest venture is working as a seated member in the first violin section of the Yakima Symphony Orchestra, fulfilling a lifelong goal of mine!

I have three years of music theory training in addition to ongoing Suzuki Teacher Training, and I am also a part of MTNA and SAWS. Other passions of mine are reading (especially fiction), playing board games with family and friends, and serving at my church.
